The heating element is halogen-filled quartz, because it delivers stable output and can handle sudden thermal shock without blinking. It heats up fast, and the coating helps keep the surface temperature even. The connector system is built for high current and high heat, with contacts that stay tight even when things are vibrating and expanding. Here’s the trade-off: you get fast, directional warmth, but you also need to pay attention to mounting clearances and make sure the surrounding area can handle the heat dissipation.
